So. Let’s check out Myspace’s Top 10 Major Signed Labeled Artists
1. Hinder
-Uh okay. Hinder’s dandy and all, but I really never expected to see these dudes as Number 1 let alone on the Top 10 list. Like where the hell did they come from. As soon as the page loaded their name jumped at me like an irritated Bengal Tiger. Yeah they’re not the greatest, but I guess based on the types of fans like Daniel said who are not very internet savvy actually buy the albums rather than illegal downloads.
2. Lil Wayne
-Lil Wayne is not dandy in my book. In fact, how the hell did this guy get like what 7 Nominations for the coveted Grammy for songs about provocative lollipops? That’s pretty bullshit. nuff said.
3. T. I.
-Lately T. I. has upped his game. I’m really liking his new album Paper Trail, and his single Dead and Gone ft. Justin Timberlake is climbing up pretty damn fast. Overall with the improvement T.I. has been showing I’m pretty glad he made it up here on this list, even if the list has been sort of ridiculous so far. Keep up the good work mengg.
4. Taylor Swift
-I generally.. Actually I don’t listen to Taylor Swift. I listened to one song called Teardrops On My Guitar. It was verray nice, however I don’t and I don’t really plan to listen to Taylor Swift. Girls do make up 50% if not more of our Earth so I guess it’s understandable. And like Hinder, Taylor Swift’s fans are generally people who actually buy albums. I really have no comment about her position. She’s sorta pretty though.
5. Beyonce
-Uh. Beyonce dances. Oh and apparently shes now known as Sasha Fierce her “alter ego”? uh okay. Why don’t you be yourself and be happy with the name yoh mama gave you. My name is Andrew Lee the most generic Korean name in the world. Suck it up. If I Were a Boy is aiite though. Just aiite. I guess she’s so high because she has two albums selling as sasha fierce AND beyonce.
6. Lady Gaga
-Lady Gaga is fairly new to me, and I never really bothered to look up what she looked like until now. And based on google images she looks like a very provocative individual. I only know one song from her, and based on that song and her sudden appearance I really don’t think she should be ranked that high. Maybe I’m a sexist or maybe I’m right. YOU be the judge.
7. Soulja Boy
-Soulja Boy wrote one song that lasted about a week that everyone learned the dance to. Awesome. But does that make him Top 10 worthy. I heard about the song Kiss Me Thru the Phone, but is it worth my time? Soulja Boy was never really worth my time so I decided against listening to it. Soulja Boy. Dude. Go home.
8. Rihanna
-Damn you’ve been through quite a lot of shit lately mah lady. Getting lots of fame from getting smacked down by Lil Chris Rihanna’s fame sky rocketed. Every time I listen to the radio lately now, theres a song that Rihanna made or featured in every other song. That’s great how you pity her and all, but what if she asked Chris to smack her? What if SHE was being the abusive one and Chris went to defend himself. Rihanna’s dandy and all and I guess she deserves a space up here, but theres some dudes out there I’d prefer listening to than this bruised up girl.
9. Flo Rida
-Aiite you make one song about apple bottoms and boots with the fur. It’s actually a real catchy song and I really haven’t gotten tired of it and neither has my father. My dad is a 46 year old man from Korea who doesn’t know any of the words to the song except the word “fur”. He kinda mumbles all silently and then as soon as he hears the word “fur” he screams it out loud. Good Job Flo Rida. You brought my parents up to date in their taste in music.
10. Chris Brown
-Yeah I know. He’s a beater. But this more about the music. Based on how much girls love this dude I wouldn’t have been surprised if I found him as Number 1 instead of randomass Hinder. However from the media and current affairs that have occurred as of late, Chris Brown got no respect mengg. Theres no such thing as Chris Brown on the radio now. It’s a myth.
