sorry i haven't updated for awhile. but i'm super bored right now. so i might as well right?
during the summer many christian goers have gone on retreats. and before all this my faith was totally rock bottom :/ but after, like most retreats, people feel blessed. but coming back from mine it was a totally different feeling. usually when people come down the mountain, from their retreat, not only are they coming down but also their faith has crumbled down with it as you enter the oppressive sinful society yet again. but after my retreat i came down fearing and realizing this sinful society. i was almost afraid to live my life and let down GOD.
do you know what blu ray is? a blu ray is like the new dvd in like ULTRA high definition. its clearer and after watching blu ray, real life looks really dull. my dad is in love with this new technology. the day after my dad bought all this stuff my mom said. "Your dad loves this he says its totally different if you watch the same movies again" and it really is. every couple of seconds or so you can't stop yourself from saying "wow!" anyways, what does this have to do with anything? As i came down from the mountain i remembered this blu ray disc and i was like oh my goodness. although i came back down to my original life i saw it all differently. more clearly and lit. i was so thankful for everything i had. just like my dad was with his blu rays. he watched the same movies he had already watched but was thankful for every scene, effect and etc.
i think i might start using this blogging thing as an everyday motivator for prayer.
i will finally leave you with this inspirational video. through all the hardships society has tormented us with self conscientiousness of our own self image. break these bonds in all of us oh father and may your holy spirit overflow our souls.
